Provenance
(noun) The place of origin or earliest known history of something.
Riding an adrenaline high after narrowly escaping a knifepoint robbery in the 7th most dangerous city in the world, I realized that youth travel is an exciting, rewarding (and yes, sometimes risky) adventure; a wild ride every millennial needs to experience at least once.
For millennial travellers, explorers and those who love culture, food and stories of adventure from around the world, finding a go-to source on the internet can be daunting; a choice between sifting through travel blogs in their thousands or the diluted mainstream avenues who do little to dig deeper into exploring a country’s real story or the nitty gritty of a culture.
I created Provenance Magazine with the vision to build an online hub for young travelers; a haven of genuine, relatable, personal content, capturing the best, most comprehensive and hidden gems of art and culture, food and travel from across the world. We make it our mission to dig deeper, capture the real story and discover true origins.
Whether you’re a lover of art and culture, a fanatic foodie, a travel junkie, an expat living the dream or you’re simply curious about what’s out there in the world, you’re in the right place.
From Amsterdam to Auckland, Mozart to Major Lazer, waffles to wontons… our global team of experts handpick the best art, culture, food and travel stories worldwide, so you’re never short on wonder or wanderlust!
